Probably because they believe that Bush's policies are responsible for bringing it here, keeping us in danger etc. The fact is that our very way of life here is what they don't like because we have a "open" society that tolerates homosexuality, abortion and women's equality. On top of that Bush and big business are cashing in globalization which isn't kind to the little guy. Since we are 'big' and want to insure we stay that way we don't exactly allow for competition in the world market even though common sense would tell you that competition is good for business. It also doesn't help that as a Western society, on the whole, we don't give them their due as far as the cultural advances we adopted from them centuries ago. Personally I'm sure glad I don't have to use Roman numerals, but I sure don't want to get blown up just because I don't want to wear a blanket around my whole body to protect men from themselves!

Blue states are Liberal States, Liberals are statists, Bush was once another massive State President. crimson States are Conservative, Conservatives choose interior sight govt and decentralized Federal govt. Obama is a enormous State President with little regard for Constitutionality and forces upon a unfastened women and adult men his mandates of authoritarianism. the u . s . a . is a Republic now no longer a Democracy.

Because they read and understand both and realize that Bush is a greater threat to existence than any "islamic jihadism" fear tactic made up to scare people by conservatives.

My wife's son was IN New York City on 9/11. If I see an Islamic terrorist I will shoot them. Stop telling me what I think - it just makes you look stupid. For Bush I can just wait two years when he will be EX-President Bush.

well... I think we're threatened by both, but the largest threat is Bush's failures to fight terror... it's been said again and again that Iraq has basically nothing to do with terror, yet we've focused the majority of our forces there?
Do you go fishing in the desert and wait for the fish to come to you? That's pretty much what we're doing to fight terror...

Why do you think it's a comparison? Or that it must be one or the other?
Jihadist want to destroy America, by blowing us up.
Bush wasnts to destroy American values, by trampling on the constitution and turning the country into a faisct dictatorship.
Best examples I've seen of "all enemies, foreign and domestic".
