Open the picture in Paint (Start > All Programs > Accessories > Paint)
Click on Image in the menu
Click on Attributes in the submenu
At the bottom, click on Black and White
Resave the picture with a new name so as not to overwrite the original color picture

Paint:

Image > Attributes > Click on "Black and White" (under colors) then click on OK.

Photoshop:

Edit > Adjustments > Desaturate

you would perhaps have to save the picture
and actually invert the colors yourself.
for example..if you have Microsoft Office Picture Manager, you can easily change the colors.
There are many other programs that you can use to do that and more; although i believe that for those programs, you would have to buy them.
But the Microsoft picture manager should be in your computer already.
