no im not but its kinda weird because garter belts w/ stockings is more of a school look than an office wear but i guess if it looks good

Well, I do not know if it is a trend or not, however. a while back I dated and then lived with a lady who wore stockings every day to work. She wore them for comfort not ever having found pantyhose that fit. Pantyhose got uncomfortable for some reason rather quickly. Unlike another person who answered, her garter belt was more utility garmet, adjustable waist for the best fit, 4 or 5 inches wide with 6 wide straps with metal clasps (plastic breaks relatively easily), rather than the frilly lacy things from Victoria's Secret or Fredericks of Hollywood which work welll in the bedroom or for short periods, but not for all day wear. And her stockings were not stretch but flat knit seamless imported from England I think. A bit expensive, and more care was necessary to keep them from getting snagged and developing runs, but she said she felt sexy and more feminine when she was dressed well, and stockings which she could wear all day long were a plus in the office where she worked. Her dresses and skirts were all a couple of inches below the knee, by the way. As far as I know, from what she told me, 2 other women in her office preferred stockings over pantyhose, out of maybe 9 other women who worked with her. She liked the smoothness of the flat knit bylons over the matte finish of the stretchy ones. Personally, I liked the shiny appearance, which is absolutely unique to flat knit stockings I admit, I got a thrill when we were out to dinner or somewhere and I could feel the garter under her skirt, and she got a thrill from knowing I got a thrill.

I don't like pantyhose because the crotch always ends up near my knees.
I have been using garter belts for a long time. Fredericks of Hollywood makes GREAT stockings (the are a true fit, and they don't run). They also make sturdy garter belts (metal fittings, as opposed to plastic (Victoria's Secret) which breaks after a few uses.
Unless you wear super short skirts, no one will know that you are wearing a garter belt.

Thats all I wear. No pantyhose for me, I wear stockings and a garterbelt to work every day. Much more comfortable and much classier looking.
