At 16 I don't think you need to worry that much unless your doing a crash diet. Also if you workout while on the diet it makes a big difference. Even if you did have a little flabby skin at 16 it would go away on it's own pretty fast. Good luck with the weight loss.

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.
I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.
It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.
Get started today!

nobody ever mentions having loose flabby skin but it happens!!!
The only way to avoid it is to lose weight slowly so it has time to contract back and t he only way to do this is to change your eating (Not srarve yourself!!!) habits and take it off by exercise. It will take longer but you wo'nt know yourself after---
just like on Biggest lLser
You change your body shape as yiou go. Have you ever noticed t hat faces on starvation victims. the skin has shrunk too but it has done it slowly. and the skin is stretched over their cheekbones, so you know that skin does shrink. You have to be paient. You cannot take weight off in a year if it has taken 10 years to put there. Join a gym and have fun

It depends how fat you are and how much you exercise. Loose weight is just the first step to look better. Make your body in shape takes a lot work.
If you can loose 40lbs, you can do anything you want after that. That's a big step. Go for it!!!

At age 16, you're highly unlikely to get the permanent loose skin that older people get because your skin is much more elastic. It might be loose for a little while, but it will probably firm up completely. Yes - I would say 41 lbs is fine.

My guess it would have to be less then 45lbs. I gained 45 with my twins and I have 'twin skin' that made my stomach look like a sharpei dog. BUT that was a 'quick' gain and a 'quick' loss of all within 9 months.

I have heard that some burn centers will take your excess skin to use as skin graphs for burn victoms? I believe your too young without parental consent.

your skin is more elastic when young. At your age you should not have this issue.
as you age, you can get the flabby skin because of loss of elasticity.
