I am in the U.K Right i know anyone under the age of 12 does not need a rod licence..but if i take my two 10year olds fishing but DO NOT fish myself , do I need a rod licence??? I would be teaching them but not fishing myself. Any help please they are desperate to go but knowone seems to know the answer to this..

Just buy a license for yourself. They're not expensive. No big deal, right?

i have never heard of a rod license young children under a certain age does not need a [FISHING ] LICENSE .if you are not fishing you will not need one this law is in the united states of america [kentucky ] but if the game worden catches you with a fishing pole in your hands then you are considered fishing and will probably be fined hope this helps oh what the hell just buy a fishing license and then you wont have too worry nabout it you wont have too sell your house or car too pay for it they are only about 15$

Nope...you don't need one...but you cannot even touch one of the fishing rods to act like you're fishing...they will fine you...
