No. He is already well-protected from sensible thinking and has been well-protected ever since the ICC overlooked his anti-Muralitharan antics.------The ICC is also well-protected from sensible thought, as we have seen time and time again over the years, and is actually the real culprit behind the Oval fiasco. Its a bit depressing that everyone is attacking Darrell Hair for basically "doing his job"!

He's an umpire. If he suspects the ball has been tampered with or anything else has gone amiss its his JOB to speak up!

I have no idea if Inzy and the boys had tampered with the ball or not. But at the end of the day Hair was doing what he is paid for.

Its kind of scary that everyone keeps accusing him of "racism" as well. What if it was the Aussies or another predominantly "white" team he'd called out for allegedly cheating? Would he be racist then? Its not just "foreigners" who cheat after all - Mike Atherton was caught back in 1994!
