what firewall do small businesses use on the computers?

All businesses should have a physical firewall. Something like a Cisco PiX or a Sonicwall. Businesses that I support generally turn off firewalls on the personal machine and run spyware and virus scanners instead.

I have installed several small business networks using both Netgear and Watchguard firewalls and have had no problems at all.
