Do you think that countries such as Japan and South Korea present a level playing field, economically-speaking?

Compare their defense budgets, their duties on imported automobiles and other protected industries, and the fact that at least in Japan, their employees are covered by national health systems and pension systems, vs. what the USA offers.

When the last auto factory in Michigan closes down, we can bulldoze the buildings and let the land return to nature, let the deer graze freely, and turn it back into a nature preserve. Then the other 49 states can look inward and wonder when it will happen to them.
