Take an exam prep course from International Educational Resources: http://www.therapyed.com/ptmain.htm
(covers all the areas of the exam that you need in class form)
Buy the exam prep book / cd: National Physical Therapy Examination Review & Study Guide by Susan O'Sullivan and Raymond Siegelman: http://www.therapyed.com/nptexamreview.htm
(best study guide there is, includes 3 practice exams)
And definately purchase the PEAT: Practice Exam & Assessment Tool from the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy: http://www.fsbpt.org/exams/peat.asp
(a timed 200-question practice exam with the “look and feel” of the actual NPTE)
