I guess all the terrorist wants a sharia law implemented in the UK not 40% Muslims want sharia law introduced into British law. In this country easily we get obsessed with face value without judging the real facts and figures. In fact, Muslims have been living in the UK for ages and they are peace loving people and they know how to respect other faiths and religions, legal systems, government and society (when cartoons were published they could have drawn cartoons of Jesus too but they did not because they respect others faiths and religions). We have not seen any problems or clashes in this country before 9/11 and that's why we describe this country as a multi cultural, faiths country. British legal system is a stable system and it has the capability to accept people from different countries and still fulfil their legal requirements. Also we need to read the Sharia law first and find the pros and cons before get into the conclusion because there so many good things can be found in it which can not be substitute e.g. paying interests, medical science, economics and so on. I am sure it will enhance the system not gonna jeopardise it for sure.

I have no idea what sharia law is and I am not British but I think 40% of Muslims have a nerve. I believe when you choose to live in another country, and they have had the good grace to accept you there, then the very least you should do is to respect the law of the land and do not interfere. If a British citizen went to a Muslim country they would be expected to obey the law there or pay the consequence. That is like the idea I heard of that Christmas cards were not to be displayed because it might offend people of other religions. Well tough. Hundreds of years tradition changed because it suddenly offends other religions. No way.PC is starting to become a laugh.....Who thinks up all these stupid things. Sack them.

Over my dead body (and the dead bodies of many other freedom loving non-Muslim Welsh, English and Scots) will Sharia Law ever be introduced into this country.

As as the previous poster said - 40% of Muslims need to go live somewhere else if they don't like it here. Noone's forcing them to stay. Its only the fact that they get all the benefits of free healthcare, social security, employment opportunities and a higher standard of living that makes them stay. You get none of that in Pakistan where there is genuine misery and poverty.

They just want to have their cake and eat it.

Ps Life Rocks you are an idiot - do you want to see people in the UK - your own family and loved ones - being executed for sex before marraige or women being whipped for not wearing hijab - those are aspect of Sharia Law!!!!? PC-morons like you sucking up to these Islamofacist idiots is the whole reason our country has gone to the dogs. If you love Muslims so much go live in Iran, they'll just LOVE to have you (not) and you can live under the "benefits" of Sharia Law all you like. Just watch your step or you may end up DEAD!

Keep Britain British. The muslims in Britain that want sharia law need to get out and go back where they came from. What nerve. I'm completely tired of muslims trying to change the cities and countries they immigrate to. If they want to make their new home the same as the one they left then why did they leave.

I think that 40% have had no experience of sharia law, i lived in Saudi for 3 years and think most muslims who have experienced western freedoms would have great difficulty living under Sharia law.

Surely if they want to live under Muslim laws they should go to a country that is Muslim not Britain, if you want to live in Britain and then you need to follow British laws, not try to convert the masses for the sake of a few individuals.
That seems a bit daft to me the minority of a minority group want to change the whole nation, no thank you.

Christianity is our state religion and as long as it stays that way sharia law wont be introduced into our legal system. Personally i don't think any religion should, but i cant realistically see our laws and religion being untangled any time in the near future.

Saw this the other day thought it appropriate>

This idea of the Brits being a multicultural community has served only to dilute our sovereignty and our national identity. As Britain's we have our own culture, our own society, our own language and our own lifestyle.
This culture has been developed over centuries of struggles, trials, and victories by millions of men and women who have sought freedom.

We speak ENGLISH, not Indian, Urdu, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, or any other language
therefore; if you wish to become part of our society, learn the language!

"Land of Hope & Glory" is our motto. This is not some Christian, right wing, political slogan. We adopted this motto because Christian men and women, on Christian principles, founded this nation, and this is clearly documented. It is certainly appropriate to display it on the walls of our schools.
If God offends you, then I suggest you consider another part of
the world as your new home, because God is part of our culture.

If the 'Union Jack’ flag offends you, or you don't like our QUEEN, then you should seriously consider a move to another part of this planet.
We are happy with our culture and have no desire to change, and we really don't care how you did things where you came from. This is OUR COUNTRY, our land, and our lifestyle. Our Laws give every citizen the right to express his opinion and we will allow you every opportunity to do so!

But once you are done complaining, whining, and griping about our flag, our lifestyle our government, or our way of life, I highly encourage you take advantage of one other great BRITISH freedom,

THE RIGHT TO LEAVE.

It is Time for Gt.Britain to Speak up

Is anybody else freakin sick of muslims?Zealots, terrorists, murderers and backwards cavemen, they should all get lost back to their hellhole of a desert and fight each other because a fictional scroll tells them to. Im not a racist who thinks there should be no immigration, its absolutely essential for our economy, however maybe muslims are not the kind of people we need. In 10- 20 years time there will be an all out civil war when this kind of crap starts to get thought about by the government.
