Open a large door or a window and try to shoo them in that direction. Then when they're all out plug the holes where they're getting in.'

The way that has always worked for me is to darken or shade all the light sources in the building except for one window or door. Open that window or door all the way. If it is a window that opens from the bottom and the top, open the top. The trick here is that birds fly to the very top of a lighted space. If you only open the window at the bottom, the bird will fly into the top part of the window. More than one source of light confuses the bird. This should work quickly.

I've used the same system to keep pigions away. Get a plastic model of an owl. They are approx. 12" high and put it near the opening where the birds go. You can get this at a Walmart, KMART, any place like that. It works
