Calling all Americans?

Question

How many of you still think America is great? I'm just curious because I've heard a lot of Americans bashing their own country. I'm sure there must be a few patriots left.

Plenty of Patriots. But not much of the Constitution is left. We say America is gone because it is morphing into just another socialist utopia and will end the same way they always do, after we go through much suffering.

America is the BEST! Go try to live in the other countries. I do not believe that Americans are bashing this country. If they are, then why the heck are they still here ? If ya don't Love it, then Leave it. I guess in every country there are the loyal and the disloyal. So what should we do? That has been going on, since the beginning of time. The complainers. Some just sit around and complain. If your speaking about the Military, then there could be a reason. Yes, there are many patriots left. Even from years gone by. I would not want to live in any other country , excepts Norway. America, the land of the Free and the Brave.

I think a lot of us a deeply disappointed in Bush's war for oil under the disguise of war against terrorism. The invasion of Iraq was a huge mistake that only a complete idiot would make.
Secondly, I feel that many people have lost faith in the honesty of vote counting. The machines now can be easily manipulated by those in charge, and it's always been true that it doesn't matter who votes, but only who counts the votes.
Will things change anytime soon? No, but the next election is bound to go to the Democrats unless they do something REALLY stupid.
Ask again after gas prices go up above $5.

Americans are bashing their own country which they love because it is being changed and they are worried. Patriots can have differing opinions, not just go with the trend of invasions, losing constitutional rights, having privacy invaded, etc. The past six years have brought the greatest changes in our country than in many past decades.

The only country in the world that has been under it's style of government longer than the US is England. Every other country has changed its government.
EVERY one.
We aren't perfect, we have made mistakes and will continue to make mistakes.
But we also get a LOT correct.
No one opens my mail, taps my phone, tells me where to worship (or tells me I HAVE to)
A friend of mine brought over a Russian woman (don't ask) She could not believe all the food we had available in one store...and this was a 7-11.
I wish I could have been with her when she shopped at a supermarket.
Is America great? yes.

if you live in America and you don't think it's a great country,I think everyone should have a chance to visit one of the countries,like Iran,India,Africa, so on,them,you'd probably kiss the ground when,if you got to come back to America. America is great and you people that don't think so open your eyes....it could all be taken away

I do think America is great, but I think our leaders stink right now. One of the great things about our country is that we can say our leaders stink, where in many countries you can't criticize the rulers...even if criticism is deserved. Things are not perfect here, but things could be a lot worse.

I think America is great. That is why I use my freedoms and I still disagree with many of our policies. Like relationships, nothing is perfect, but it can still be the best thing going!

Of course I do , however nothing is perfect or we would all be one nation truly under God ! I would rather be here than any where else in the world . No offense to anyone else but I like my freedom !
