Advanced Placement American Government- essentially a college course in high school. There's a big test, and your score decides whether or not you get college credit.

And good point about the capitalization, my brain is a little fried so I didn't catch it.

The framers are the people who participated in the II Continental Congress. They decided what would be included in the U.S. Constitution and which things should be left out.

Jefferson was actually not a framer. He did not participate in the continental congress or the ratifying conventions as he was overseas at the time. He did however write the original draft to the Declaration of Independence.

This refers generally to the men whose ideas were influential in the structuring of the new government of the United States under the Constitution, after several bad years under the defective Articles of Confederation. Chief among these is James Madison, though several others are certainly worth mentioning: Franklin, Jefferson, John Adams, Alexander Hamilton, John Jay, and many more. Based on their readings of history and political philosophy, they decided upon the basic framework of our government, though many of the particular details were worked out in more conventional sessions of political bargaining and bickering.

The ones who created the framework of the country, by structuring government and then drafting that into a legal document called the Constitution.

The American men who wrote the Constitution such as Ben Franklin, Alexander Hamilton, George Washington Thomas Jefferson etc.

Also when you speak of the United States Constitution, its a proper title and should be capitalized.

What does "AP Gov." mean? I don't understand what that is.

They are the people who put the 2x4 or 2x6's in between the walls of your house, usually on a foundation. The US framers used slaves and profits from incorporating capitalism and did away with barter-ism to establish the great country we endure.
