Absolutely!! When my husband and I got married, I lived in Washington state and he lived in northwest Montana. Infact we didn't move intogether until about 4 months after we were married. I would drive up on the weekends (about a 3 hour drive) and stay with him or he would sometimes come see me. He had to finish college in Montana before he could move to Washington. I wouldn't let a little distance get in the way of your happyness!! We made it work and we have never regretted it. We have been married 4 years now.

Why would you want to marry someone that you do not reside in the same state with? How did you meet anyway? Internet?

I think people get married when they are on deployement over seas so it should be possible. There's a MASH episode where they get married by radio so I'm sure it must be possible. The important thing is the signatures on the paper and the ministers signature.

I don't think so. You both need to be together and get married in the same place in order for it to be legal.

I don't think it is a good idea after all I don't the whole situating but if you love enough to spend your life committed to each other than can't you find away to be in the same place?
