An excellent movie. Although made almost 20 years ago, it still is one of the best "spoofs" ever made. High camp.
My favorite is the scene from Harvey's funeral in the "Roast Your Loved One" segment.

It's one of those films I have kicking around somewhere on video and it's brilliant. I love the VD sketch in the end credits with Carrie Fisher and the late Paul Bartell and the Invisible Man (who isn't actually invisible) film spoof with Ed Begley Jr.
Yes, it is cool. I do believe it's directed by John Landis.

Yes. I still have it in my aging VCR tape collection. It came out in 1987, and I thought it was very weird but extremely funny.
One of my favorite parts in the black guy getting home. He pushes the remote control and his TV explodes, etc. I've had days like that.
Also Known As:
Cheeseburger Film Sandwich
Kentucky Fried Sequel (USA) (working title)
The Best Movie Ever Made (USA) (working title)
Thanks for asking an interesting question.

That movie is freakin' hilarious. It's basically the 80's version of Kentucky Fried Movie. I'm actually going to go look for it on DVD now. I almost forgot about that one. Happy viewing.

Funny as hell... Was a group of directors all getting together and putting their sketches on the big screen, John Llandis being the brain behind it...

i have seen it...
it was cool when i first saw it when i was 12...
now i look at it and see a lame set of skits, topped of by a really bad spoof on science fiction films from the 50's...
the Z-A-Z team did this sort of film better with KENTUCKY FRIED MOVIE.

Great movie from the 50's. I saw it in the North Miami Theater when I was a kid!

I think so actually, it was rather a bizarre film as I recall, but rather forgettable as they didn't get their kit off. Boooooo!
