and my husband and I absolutely enjoy being intimate. My question is how hard or fast is too hard or fast during sex while expecting? Because we are not really into the slow and soft approach. But I definately don't want to harm my baby in any way. This is a question that I was too embarassed to ask my doctor, as you can imagine. We don't like freakishly do it hard and fast to a point where it hurts, but just enough to where we really enjoy it.

How stupid do you think God is? Did he create us to recreate? YES! And we are so stupid, that he provided a protection for babies! EARPLUGS!!!! LOL
Just kidding. Your baby is safe inside a sac full of fluid. In fact, even tho your baby is about a tiny centimeter big (or small!), your belly will swell with this fluid. My doctor told me to have sex until it was just too uncomfortable, even to the day of delivery! Keep your husband satisfied, and keep yourself comfortable! At least now you don't have to worry about gettin pregnant! DANG GIRL! You won't be there again until you are in menopause!!!!

First trimester it's better to take it easy, things aren't really settled in there yet, so to speak. After 12 weeks, just ask your doctor if it's ok to have intercourse like you mean it.. :) He's heard it all before! You can also ask the nurse practioner, if it's easier for you to talk to her.

For now, nothing buck wild! Babies change EVERYTHING... Congratulations!

Did the doctor give you any restrictions about having sex? I would ask them, I know it is embarressing, but it is better to be safe than sorry.

I don't see to where there would be a problem with this as long as you aren't doing anything harmful to yourself.
