maybe they are not responding to you or that they don't know how to Yahoo?
I'm sure you've done everything okay but you can always check to make sure you've given firewall rights to yahoo messenger - otherwise, your messages will not be delivered.

Are you sure that they are there to respond? Perhaps they aren't online, or on Messenger at the moment.

Maybe u pressed block, just undo it be again pressing block...MAYBE
