Lets see I have my bag packed and this is what I have...

Clothes to wear after labor...like pjs to lounge in. What ever you will be comfy in but not feel like a total frump!
Slippers...in case you need to walk around to get things moving
Brush, toothbrush/paste, hair clip, deodorant, make up, shampoo/conditioner, lotion, chap stick, pads...I don't like the stuff the hospital provides.
Baby book
Camera
Diaper bag with babys outfit
BRING IMPORTANT PAPERS
Car seat
Underwear...you bleed alot afterwards and will most likely use them
Socks
Anything youre going to use during labor...birthing ball, music
Pillows
Your partners stuff...change of clothes, snacks, pillow, blanket

Ummm...thats pretty much what I have.

You are only there like two days tops but you know how women are they want to have everything.

Good luck...I am due any day too!!

You should bring 2 nightgowns which you do not really care about because they usually get messy. They have mesh underwear at the hospital that you can use, if you do not want to you should bring 2 pairs of your own. Bring a comfy pair of slippers. Bring an outfit to wear home, it should probably be a maternity outfit because you don't go down to your pre-pregnancy figure right away. Bring a nice outfit for the baby to wear home and a blanket to take it home with. Some hospitals let you take home receiving blankets others don't. Hospitals provide diapers, wipes, and everything you will need for the baby while you are there. Don't forget a camera or the list of people you need to call from the hospital and you will need a phone card if you need to call long distance. Most hospital delivery rooms have CD players so if you would like to bring a relaxing CD to help get you through the labor process. Maybe a lotion or oil if you want your partner to massage you to help with the pain. Your partner should bring a change of clothes and some snacks for them - you wont be able to eat while you are in labor. I would recommend bring a pillow or 2 of your own. I brought lollipops for myself, it helps to kind of get your mind off of things and is about the only thing besides ice chips they will let you eat. Toothbrush and toothpaste, hair brush, hair tie, makeup if you use it, deoderant. Infant carseat. Baby book. Any insurance cards or papers you might need. i think thats about it. Congrats and good luck with you baby!

Actually pretty simple. Anything that helps you relax-a book or a cd of sounds-that kind of thing. An outfit(or two) to bring baby home in. A loose fitting outfit for yourself to wear home and loose panties too-the less pressure down there the better. A blanket for baby. Baby's car seat and be sure it's installed correctly BEFORE you are leaving the hospital.
The hospital will provide you with just about everything else so take advantage. Diapers-wipes-formula(if needed) for baby and all your personal hygiene items and just use a hospital gown because yours will get stuff on it and get stained anyway. Good luck and congrats!

I packed a robe and a gown. You don't have to wear what they have after you give birth. House slippers, extra socks, shampoo and soap if you prefer your own. I showered the day after to clean myself up. Super plus Pads with the sticky side on because they will issue the ones that don't stay on well. toiletries from home like make up, hair spray, curling iron to fix your hair. You will have visitors so if you want to look your best, then bring them. I brought a pair of sweat suits. The clothes you came won't feel right and you can't go wrong with sweats. A cute outfit and blanket for the baby. Don't forget a camera for pictures to take after the baby comes. You may want a magazine to read but I'm sure you would want to rest as much as you can!

You need a couple of outfits for the baby to come home in. Because it might be smaller or bigger than you expected. I have always brought my own diapers. Baby wipes too. Around here, they give you dry cloths and you wet them when needed. A number of wipes is needed sometimes. Comfy pj's that are ok to be seen in while in the hospital by visitors. A couple of blankets for the baby to help "pad" them in the car seat if they are really small. The seat can at times "swallow" them up. Of course, your camera.

Just Ask your doctor or their receptionist or nurse what to bring.
I'd bring:
#1 confidence, faith,
Socks, A recieving blanket (2) rolled up, 2 infant diapers, try and not worry about it, you may want a large towel or paper towels, in case your water breaks in the hall or in the car. ask to take some formula with you on the way back home, they have it ready made with nipples ready to put on bottles.
Congratulations, it will work out whether you bring anything or not. The nursery nurses take great care of everybody.

Toothbrush, toothpaste, some nice-smelling lotion or massage oil for labor. Tennis balls work great for massaging the back, legs, and neck. If the hospital allows it, some cd's and a cd player or IPod. A novel, crossword puzzle book, or other such things to keep you busy in between contractions, or while you are on the epidural. Snack crackers, dried fruit, bottled water/Gatorade/sodas, etc, for your birthing partner if he/she gets hungry and the cafeteria is closed. A camera for the delivery and for photos of the little one meeting family members while you are recovering. Hard candy, lollipops, or gummi bears to suck/chew on while you labor, to keep your mouth from drying out and to give you a little boost of sugar for stamina. A prepaid phone card for pay phone. (Cell phones aren't allowed in the hospital, and it can be inconvenient to runn outside to use it.)
And a friend/ hubby/ bf/ mother to sit with you and coach you while you labor, to laugh and cry with after the baby is born, and to manage phone calls to share the news and make visitor arrangements.

if you're breastfeeding, bring a boppy! Also, bring an outfit to wear home for you and the baby, a carseat, hygiene products (you'll definately want your favorite lip balm), a list of people's phone numbers (or a call phone) and stuff to entertain you (mags, puzzle books, etc). Good luck and early congrats!

Your Uterus will help..Don't forget that.

You really don't need anything. They take great care of you and will give you just about anything you need.

If this is your first..don't take the car seat up to the room...They make you hold the baby while they push you to the car.

My most valueable item...Candy for afterwards.
