Are you suprised he wasn't shot. Will he be alive next year?

Ralph "Bucky" Phillips escaped from custody, killed one NYS Trooper and seriously injured 2 others. He also committed numerous robberies during his months on the run and put the people of the Southern Tier and northern PA at risk! I am very happy that he was caught!!

I immediately thanked God that he had been caught. Though I don't live in that area of New York State, it was scary to think of him out there. I was surprised that they captured him. I thought he'd commit suicide by cop. I hope it gives the family of the slain trooper some measure of peace, knowing he's locked up in maximum security.
