And what do you think about your answer?

I haven't asked that many questions. Most of them were something I needed help with or wanted advice or opinions. I hope I will never stoop to the level of some people and ask purely inane questions just to see it appear on the screen.

My answers come from the heart if it's something I truly believe in or have experienced and think that I can help someone avoid the pitfalls. Sometimes it's just to reassure someone that a situation isn't all that dire and the consequences don't have to be dreadful. I don't think they're profound--certainly I admit I get carried away with some questions and they're lengthy, but if a person seems sincere and is asking a question because he/she needs to know or wants reassurance, then they deserve the best answer you can give. I'd like to think I'm somewhat modest and would prefer to say my answers are thoughtful, thought-provoking, insightful instead of profound. I don't believe I've lived long enough or well enough to claim that depth of knowledge.

I admit to being on Yahoo Answers late at night when I'm tired and should give up and go to bed, and finding the one question that hits me just the right way. I might give a smart-mouth answer (although sometimes I've been awarded Best Answer for these cracks) to show my disdain for what I consider a waste of cyberspace, but I try not to. Most people who put a question on here want or need and deserve consideration. You can usually tell when someone posts a question that on the surface sounds dumb, that they're really looking for a clever, witty reply.

What do I think of my answer? It's honest and reflects my values of who I am and how I view those that I respond to.

Well, I tend to ask questions that I need answers for, and I try to answer profound question, to keep my head working and to have fun :)

I do a bit of both. If it's superficial, then I try to add a bit of humor onto it. But if it's profound, then I try to be as unbiased and inoffensive as possible. I like my answers. They're not incredibly stupid, yet, are not too hard to comprehend.

Mostly profound...one does not see the point of superfical questions, they are mostly self answering ...and humor can be so vague when in print also the picture in your mind can be so different to what the questioner meant ....so I don't print much humor for that reason

Superficial, because they are a source of never ending amusement. And I think this is a fine answer. I can give you my iron-clad guarantee that his is the best answer I have ever given to this question.

Yes, I do (both).

I think I've given some really great answers -- I usually try to be clear, pertinent, detailed, balanced, and helpful. Sometimes I don't, but most of the time I do.

I prefer questions about questions with answers that don't answer anything. Do you think I like my answer, then???

I answer what ever tickles my fancy at the moment. Doesn't matter....if I have an answer to a question, I'll answer it!
