novios= boyfriend

basically: It's a person who's looking 4 a boyfriend.

Abuela: Actually "Matchmaker" is CASAMENTERA (Someone who tries to arrange romantic partnerships or marriages between people), not Buscanovios (A person who's looking for a boyfriend to herself by herself).

BUSCANOVIOS means literally "looking for boyfriends" (or fiancÃ©s)...
It could be applied to the english word "matchmaker"
