I was a sleepless artist...but do you think it is real?

I do believe in past lives, although I'm not sure it's actually possible to find out what those past lives were.

If you're interested in finding out a little more about past lives, look into a guy named Edgar Cayce. He was a psychic who was able to read people's past lives, heal people, and interpret their dreams, all while lying in a self-induced trace. A good book to start with is "Many Mansions."

Most people that believe in this, believe that they were someone famous or fantastic, such as your sleepless artist. I believe we could have had past lives, and while they may seem to have been mostly mundane lives, it would explain some of the feelings some of us have now, that are conflicting with what we know we should be feeling at times.

Yes, I do. But I think that all the people claiming to have been some famous historical icon are full of it. 99.99% of people are reincarnates of regular joes who had to work to feed a family and died of some disease in the streets, or ended up the rabbit caught for someone's dinner. I'm sure everyone would like to believe that they were Cleopatra III or Alexander the Great in a past life, but, uh, no.

Yes and no. I am a Buddhist, so the concept of rebirth is a part of the teachings that I accept. I accept them as I perceive Life Force to be conserved. However, this is independent of memories from previous incarnations. The way that I look at it is that when the spirit leaves from someone, it "jumps" to someone else, but all it takes is itself, which has been affected by the laws of Karma, and nothing else. So in that sense, our spirits have been in others before, but there's not use speculating on it as we have no memories of it. At least that's what makes sense to me.

Yes I believe in past lives.

When you go to meet your maker I feel your soul has to have experienced certain things throughout time.

I feel when we die and get to heaven that we may be sent back if we have "duties" that we still have to accomplish.

I believe God will keep us in heaven or send us through again to complete our journies.

I do also believe that we can hang around and haunt if we want too lol OF course if you are going to Hell there is only one option for that.

Everyone has different beliefs but I believe its all possible and it all fits together.

I want to believe in the past life because when i went to the renaissance fair, the lady said that in my past life, i was a wolf...witch is really bizzare because im totally obsessed about wolves and i want to become a wolf specialist, im working really hard at it! She had no way of knowing i liked wolves! coincidence...i think not!!

No. The mind is very complex and we generally are run by our emotions, feelings and imaginings. They just proved that the deja vu experience is a reaction of the brain, convincing us that we went through something earlier, when in fact we did not, it was just an impression our mind gives us.
