i have an old pentium 2 celeron 266mhz with 20gighard drve and 192 mbram any ideas what i can do with it i was thinking a media centre for my lounge maybe as a dvd recorder/ tivo/ music and media player linked to my t.v any ideas?

Use it for storage, a safe place to keep you important files and somewhere to place you back ups.
Or you could use it instead of you cd player, store all your cd's as MP3's and create your playlists

Or try using it as an anchor on a boat

I don't think it would make a good media center, especially with a celeron processor .Also, the hard drive is too small. You might think about using it as an 'internet' machine or print server or maybe connect it to a router so you can give access to laptops.

Remember, there's lots of people out there with nothing.... and would love to have such a machine - so they can learn.... also can be donated to places that teach computer repair.

You could use it for additional storage. PC World .com should have some articals that would help you set it up!
