it could have been impossible for a guy or woman to shuttle around the seas on my own. Vessels lower back then have been huge and required alot of tending to, inclusive of sails, maintance, navigation, monitoring the celebrities, mapping the direction, cooking, cleansing, tending to animals (if on board), etc. to no longer point out the plethora of pirates that ravaged the seas. Had a guy been on my own, he might have lost no longer in basic terms his deliver, yet his existence. i think of many books assume that the reader is familiar with the explorers traveled with a team, it is an ignorant mistake.

No. They usually travelled in a party of 6 -12 men.

i once read that this guy brought a painter with him so he can hav like pictures and records of them or something....... and plus if they went alone.. isnt that kinda dangerous?!

I would say, if they did they were nut's. I seriously doubt it.. I think they knew they would need help. Even with help, they could be slaughtered.
