It amazes me how so many people get huffy, puffy, and confused when they hear the terror level has been raised. And no matter how many times they get the answers to 'What do I do?' they ask the same question the next time the alert is raised.

It means, stay on guard. Be alert and suspicious. Report any suspicious activities that you observe. Don't walk through life blindly anymore. After 9/11, we should all be in this mode whether or not the alert level has been raised.

Whatever the terror alert, I think we are all duty bound to keep our eyes open. You remember that shoe bomber? Well the stewardess that saved the plane saw him trying to light his shoe on fire. She then ordered the men to stop him -- which they did without question. Had that lady minded her own business or had the men refused to stop him than that nut would have eventually set off his bomb and killed all aboard. We all need to be like her. Report suspicious actions to the police and be prepared to act if necessary.

I think she should get the Congressional Medal of Honor which is the highest honor a civilian can get from the American government. She sets a good example of how our attitudes have to change in this post 9-11 world.

it means that all travelling arrangements become a pain in the neck as the time required to check in doubles in the interest of safety,
it also means the guns come out for the police and this is not normal here in the uk, it can be upsetting for the kids and the old people.
my opininon is that we are to soft ,not only on terror but in all crime involving violence, I believe much tougher sentencing would be welcomed by all.
thanks

That the Illuminati are hard at work instilling fear into the masses of lost sheep, and warning them what is to come.

Nothing! I don't have a real understanding of the "terror" threat level. And, if I did, I would totally disregard it. I have to wonder if changing the level is politically motivated.

not a lot, the whole terror alert system is just a farce put up by the bush administration to paralyze the masses.

Nada. Its just the Bushies wanting us to give up our Freedoms so they can rule as Kings. See V for Vendetta or Wag the Dog, this is how Bush works.

nothing usually, except if I have to go on a military base where the level is elevated, usually meant more cars get searched, so takes you longer to get where you are going.... It is all political anyways.
