Im all about the toothpaste on the scratch. Because it's so thick in texture, it'll fill in the scratch and keep the disc from skipping or sticking.

try rubbing alcohol... it wont fix it but it will clean it and usually lets the eye see the data...usually doesnt matter if it is scratched, just that somethoing is blocking the data...

I've seen my boyfriend use toothpaste.put it on then wipe it off .Dont wash it .
