Most of you said this week Notre Dame would be exposed for the overrated team they are, and obviously Notre Dame proved they deserve to be a top ten team. Now what do you have to say? Penn St. was overrated, ND will lose this weekend to Michigan. Give me your excuses you haters. Quite frankly your blinded by hate.

Yeah of course not. Most haters are wondering what to say, if they dont jump on the bandwagon now they may not have the chance.

Guess all the Notre Dame haters who picked them to lose are at a bar crying in their beer, because they just realized they know nothing about college football.

Go Irish or Go Home! They played a great game today, far better than last week! The media always has something negative to say about Notre Dame but they will win over all!

Penn St. is not that good; If Akron half way had an offense they would have beat them in Happy Valley. I think Notre Dame is a good team but they will lose 2 games this year. Brady Quinn is off still and was off target a lot. I think if he was QB at an avg. school no one would talk about him much.

I dont' think people hate ND; they hate arrogant ND fans like you that act like your champs after the 2nd game. Lets let the season unfold and see what happens. I think they're good but not as good as you think obviously.

I disagree with your premise that ND is 'trapped' and no longer able to make BCS video games. basically seem at 2005 and 2006 on your counterexamples! Notre Dame's national acceptance enable them to have their own clause interior the BCS regulations meaning that they are nonetheless thoroughly waiting to play interior the BCS. Now granted, in the event that they have been in a convention the possibility could exist for them to earn a BCS bid even with no longer deserving it (Florida St. interior the 2006 Orange Bowl even with being #23; Pitt interior the 2005 Fiesta Bowl even with a #21 score), yet i think of this is plenty extra the exception than the rule of thumb, i.e., the communities that win the BCS conferences are many times desirable 10 communities. So if Notre Dame does no longer often be extra certain of a gamble at a BCS bid, what could they lose? nicely, scheduling for particular. Notre Dame continuously has between the toughest schedules interior the country because of the fact they are able to %. and choose who they play. extra importantly, Notre Dame has rivalries with colleges around the country. growing to be a member of a convention could make it very difficult for the Irish to nonetheless play Michigan, Purdue, Michigan St., USC, army, Boston college, Stanford, Pitt, et. al. on a typical foundation. self reliant status supplies ND unrivaled scheduling flexiblity as evidenced with the help of sequence with Miami, Florida St., Oklahoma, Georgia Tech, Penn St., and Tennessee. to no longer point out growing to be a member of a convention could positioned a severe crimp on Notre Dame's soccer sales which, regardless of each thing, are the rationalization why a small college in northern Indiana has been waiting to alter into the main excellent Catholic college in united states of america of america. in short, ND isn't growing to be a member of a convention any time quickly because of the fact this is basically no longer advantageous for them. no longer from the viewpoint of funds, identity, or opposition.

What about Notre Dame self-haters? Quinn is really not doing that great, and we're certain to lose to at least USC, probably plenty more.

Our defense is pretty monstrous though.

I think that Notre Dame should be in the top 10, however, I don't think they will win the national championship.
