Or do you leave the things to God's will and pray for the things to get better?

i lower my expectations and criteria for "success."

for example, i was looking for an apartment. my goal: 1k/month, 2 bedrooms. as i couldn't find this, i kept lowering my goals and got some nice places for 1.2k, 1 bedroom.

Bad situations motivate me to move and improve. I do ask God for guidance and strength, but I do everything I can to make things happen. I am happy for the free will and abilities I have been given and do not believe in kicking back and expecting God to fix things for me while I do nothing.

When trials come in my life the way I react is a good indicator of whether I trust God to deal with them or not. Sometimes I don't pass the test sometimes I do.
