Both of them are very convenient, but I would probably get rid of my computer, being without a television, would be boring, there are so many shows and movie's, I would miss.

The TV for sure. The television has its limits as an educational tool whereas the Internet seems to have no boundaries.
Take this site for instance, it's an information sharing portal. Whether you're a scholar seeking course support and/or advice or just want to find the best chip shop in Bolton, then i can safely say, they'd be people out there who have the answer.
One final thought, how enriched would our lives be, especially our children's minds, if television was universally banned? (make a good question on here that one) Here's another thought to ponder, how technologically sophisticated would today's world be, had television NEVER been invented?

Definitely the television, I don't watch much telly now, I hate daytime TV, soaps are pathetic, the news is depressing and everything else has either been on before or not worth watching, with a computer you can get all the news and information you want, email, blog, shop, book holidays, buy furniture, food and everything you could possibly need without leaving the house, computers are the best thing invented since sliced bread.

In order to stay connected to the world, it would be a wise choice to keep the computer because of the internet. You can watch television via the internet. There are so many venues that would give you social connections and opportunities to be interactive, as well as educational libraries to learn and grow. The computer would be the right choice if you had internet connectivity! I had to give this much objective thought because I am definitely a television person!!!

TV. I lived for ten years without a TV and you know what I discovered? There are many who do not have a TV. Once you don't have a TV you end up going to town drinking coffee or whatever. There you will find others who do not have a TV doing many different things. You will be swept up in all these new activities. You will discover that real life has more drama than is on TV. Real life is far more interesting, funny, sexy, passionate, relaxing, and many other things. Give it a try. It is very exciting. It is a secret known to only those who do not have a TV.

Television - because we can already receive some television
on your computer (BBC for example) and this tendency is growing,
No doubt TVs will have to kick back and do the reverse, but in the
long run TVs will have an option of a plus computer - but computers
will then be, by then, both computer and TV.

Definatly TV. With the computer you get the internet, the only place where freedom of speech really exists. How many times have you watched TV and found nothing on, no matter how many channels you have? There's always something of interrest on the net.
Plus, you can use any computer to play games, write letters, create illustrations etc. Can you do that with a TV?

I would get rid of the TV, I've actually basically done it, my TV got struck by lightning a few months ago and I haven't been able to afford a new one yet, and I hadn't really turned it on for about 2 months before it got struck. I do have a radio I listen to, and i kinda do miss TV a little but, not a lot.
