I think you answered your own question. We as human beings make mistakes, you must use your common sense and rely on your gut instincts. Most of us know Right from Wrong. You said it in your own question, the only certainty in life is the uncertainty. Life is not fair, you must try to make the best of it every day. When you wake up and look into the mirror,I`m alive to start and see another day.

Most people do not realize (or care to ponder) that life is fragile. One's life can change in a split second. Everything in life is an uncertainty. The only way to manage ones life IMO, is to believe in your dreams, don't let obstacles stop you from achieving your goals and believe that nothing is impossible. Whatever you can believe, you can achieve. There is great emotional delight in the quest of a goal. ... sorry about your friends.

I can relate and am so very sorry for your loss. I have lost three family members and my two best friends in the past 5 years. All I can say is to think of them as going on a long vacation and eventually you will meet up with them again. In the meantime be happy cause that is what they would want for you and do things in life to make your life more fulfilling and know that they are smiling at you.

The only to things they say are certain in life are 'Death & Taxes'!!
To which I would also add... 'Heaven & Hell'!!
This is why we should always live life to the full: & seize each and every day as if it were our last... as we never, ever know... it could be!!

If life were certain, it would be to easy to take it for granted. It is always horrible losing friends, especially when they are young, but it never gets easier. uncertainty causes to lead life with confidence, because you never know when your time will end. You may make more mistakes this way, but those mistakes made you who you are today. So take life by the horns and only look back in rememberance, not with regret!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
