I lisiened to it and I didn't really like it. Of course I was never a big Dylan fan anyway. But I did like the song he sang about, everyboby must get stoned. He was always difficult to understand for me.

This album was hyped since it was leaked earlier in the year, which partly made me long for it to come out and partly made me wonder if it could ever live up to the hype and would just be a let down. I was right on one, completely wrong on the other.

This is a great album, as good or better than anything else around for many years. Not Blood on the Tracks, but to be honest, thank God, not - this is every bit an album of today, this is Dylan in the 21st Century.

I listened to part of Freewheelin' today, and "Masters of War" sequenced straight into Modern TImes, and you would not even notice that 40 years have gone between them, both are albums which are at once timeless and yet still absolutely of the present.

A+++++++++++++++
