No, not at all! I find it peaceful and melodic. Haunting in some instances.

Now Rufus Wainwright and or Pete Yorn... That crap is overrated.

What in the bajeezuz do people hear in him?

and for the idiot right above me... You are entirely too close to me with that nonsence. Nick Drake is dead you tool! Now please... respect the 5 feet of personal space man! Stupid is catchy you know? MOVE AWAY FROM ME!

His guitar work was a departure from what everyone else was doing at the time. It's rare to find someone that exceptional at both songwriting AND playing guitar.

Many great artists say he was an inspiration. I got tired of reading it and not knowing his work, so when I found a couple of Drake's CDs in the public library 5 years ago, I took them out and have been hooked ever since.

I find his music soothing, great to drift off to sleep to.

Over rated by who? Talent-less morons?

It's very original, considering he was making his sounds, what - 30 years ago?

For some strange reason we don't own any of his albums; but have heard various of his tracks on the radio and have found them very enjoyable.

I have only just discovered his music over the last year. I must admit it took a while to appreciate his music, but now I think he is amazing.

No, not at all. It's wonderful. If anything it's underrated here in America. More people should listen to it and appreciate it. But everyone has their own taste. *shrug*

Absolutely. There's nothing wrong with it, as such, but I find it does nothing for me. I find his voice mildly irritating, but that's about it.
