Ok, for my biology project on biomes, I have to look up the Boreal Forest. I have to find an example of each of these:
an autotroph
herbivore
and carnivore
i have to tell how each of these adapted to their enviornment.
Please give me some good sites where I can find this information.
Remember, it is on the Boreal Forest- not the Taiga.
Thanx so much.

Try Wikipedia......I just typed in Autotroph and herbivore and it gave me definitions (good ones) for both.

Good luck with your home work!

Yes, it's not that easy to find if you just put in boreal forest, but if you go to borealforest.org, which is a free website, they have loads of good information on the animals and plants and it's not too hard to read. Includes pictures, too. Here's the link for boreal forest tigers, you can click back through the site for the other stuff you need.

Good luck!
