i have better hobbies than to worry about a distribution problem with PlayStation.

W hen i first heard about Sony pushing back the release date overseas i was very upset and puzzled by it. I have been a hardcore PS3 fan since the announcement for it, but i found myself questioning the PS3 and how Sony has handled all the negative press, but after a lot of on-line research and lots of reading i still feel that these are only small problems seeing how Sony is still on track to put out 4 million units by march of 2007. The PS3 is the most high tech and complicated systems ever built so i am not shaken by the set back due to a shortage of blue-ray players. Also i have read that the production of the cell processors have been difficult to produce seeing how for every 100 they make only 10-15 are graded good enough to use in the PS3. It will hurt sales somewhat, but the 360 suffered the same problem at launch of its system as well. So in November you will have to be quick to get a PS3 or you will have to wait 2-3 more months.

me mate i am gutted but its still a long way off yet until December and Sony are the best console makers in the world they wont let xbox360 win again plus the games line up for PS3 is awesome just check out www.hmv.co.uk you can order these games now!

it comes out in November and anyways there is only going to be 500,000 PS3 in the US so u r not getting on till march, unless u have no life and camp out in front of Best Buy for 3 days.

it's still Nov. 17 for the U.S. but they pused the release date back for Europe.that does suck but could be good cause now the US can hopefully get shipped here and won't be a huge shortage like the ps2 or 360

What?! That sucks, last I heard it was November. What is the hold up with this thing? It better be worth the wait when it finally comes out.

If you live in Japan it comes out on November 11th. In the US it comes out on Nov 17th. I believe the European market is the only place it is delayed.
