Yes. Two different testing methods can be gathered from the baby while still developing in the mother's womb. One test, called chorionic villus sampling, is conducted only between weeks 10 to 12 of pregnancy. This test involves retrieving a small sample of tissue from the placenta. Another test, called amniocentesis, is performed between weeks 15 and 18 of pregnancy. This test involves passing a needle through a mother's abdomen to the womb in order to withdraw a small sample of amniotic fluid. . The collected samples are then forwarded to a laboratory for examination. Although technically possible to confirm paternity with these tests, the risk of harm to the developing baby--although remote-- should be considered. For this reason, it's generally advised that paternity testing be postponed until the child is born, if possible.

i believe the earliest you can do an amnio at 12 weeks. But they recomend you not do that unless it is medically necessary. Most safest way is after birth. That is what i have to do. I know it is painful not knowing or knowing but only having the test to prove it to the father. I am the latter. Just be as patient as you can. The time will come.

I don't know, but, what ever you do if you're not sure if the child is yours you better not give it your name at birth or accept any responsibility for it at all until you find out, cause they will by law hold you responsible for that child even if it's not yours.
As the matter of fact, if you're married to her you end up responsible for that child whether it's yours or not if you don't protest it from the beginning. If you're asking this, you shouldn't even be with her.

Yes I believe you can get one done, but I think it has risks for you and the baby so you should wait until after the baby is born. Ask your OB-GYN.

Yes, but it involves having an amniocentesus (i'm not sure on the spelling). Talk to your doctor about how soon it can be done unless someone on here has had one and knows...sorry...i've never had an amnio done.

I think you can. Call a local hospital and see what they offer. You will have to pay alot more money because the baby is still in the womb.

yes it is possible but if you are thinking of dong it i would think long and hard because it could kill the baby...they have to stick a needle in through your stomach into the baby.
