Was it for making me jealous, was it just a joke, what it was - I got a bit pissed off!

The thing is like this: we have been friends since many many years but we never made one step to make it more... or to try anything more..... we have been far away, most of the time, anyway.

Do guys do things like this (the one I mention in my question) to provoke their object of sympathy???
By the way, he often repeated to her during the 5 days that "you are a cheap *****", and other joking but also disrespectful things. On the other hand, he was kind and gentle with me, and I know he would never-ever treat me like that... okay now, it was all joking, but... hey, should I still give a thought about it, or forget all of it and wait and see if anything ever happens?

Any ideas?

Details: we were on holidays, visiting a common schoolfriend, two girls visiting a guy. Had't seen each other since many years... me with him since two years, and he with her since as many as 10 years!!

I think I should kick his a... ! :))
I actually asked him why he did like this..... I asked why he is so disrespectful to women, hehe... no answer... hehe, all quiet!
:)
I asked if women hurt him or something, that he doesn't give a damm about respecting them, but - no answer.....
He was dedicating me romanitc songs all five days, when she didn't look... :))

"Each to his own" as the saying goes.....but, is this REALLY good enough for you?
Time moves on; where do you see yourself just down the track?
I personally would wish that you had a better deal than that going that lead to a more ideal scene!

WHY WOULD YOU GET UPSET IF HE WAS BEING DISRESPECTFUL TO YOUR FRIEND? I WOULDN'T GET JEALOUS BECAUSE TO ME, THAT'S NOT SAYING THAT HE'S INTERESTED IN HER. AND...WHY ARE YOU INTERESTED IN SOMEONE WHO IS SOOOHHHH DISRESPECTFUL TO WOMEN ANYWAY? I WOULD LET HIM KEEP STAYING WHEREVER THE HELL HE LIVES AND FIND SOMEONE ELSE TO DATE BECAUSE HE'S AN IDIOT WHO SHOULD SLURP PIG VOMIT FOR THE REST OF HIS MISERABLE LIFE!

NO. DUMP THE LOSER.

IF HE IS NOT MAN ENOUGH TO RESPECT YOU THEN HE IS NOT WORTH YOUR TIME. FLIRTING WITH YOUR FRIENDS IS NOT RESPECTING YOU. DUH....
