I see all these images of men in movies gallantly battling time and space. But could this be a possible reality for us in this world? Take a look at The Punisher, a character simply driven on by his idealism and his volition. and if it is a truth how do I obtain this power?

No, the key to immortality is to impede the telomeres to reduce.

We are unable to get Immortality for ourselves. Immortality is not just "eternal life." Immortality IS LIFE. That is, when you are Immortal you need NOTHING else to live. No water, food, air, clothes, you could sit in the heart of the sun and nothing would happen because YOU ARE LIFE. You don't have life, you ARE life. See the difference? Its there but hard to distinguish. We mortals have life, but we need all these other things to "make it work," while an immortal IS LIFE and as such needs nothing, not even oxygen to live. Thus an Immortal will NEVER DIE, while if we get out of our "comfort zone" then we can die with little problem, just change the air pressure, oxygen level, temperature, etc.

You already have this power. But by the time you have learned enough to be able to use it, you will have learned enough to understand why you don't need it for battle. To use a Christian metaphor, by the time your faith is strong enough you can say to the mountain "move" and it will move, your consciousness is essentially one with the One who put the mountain there in the first place, and so you no longer have any interest in moving it.

This ironic dimension of the universe is always good for a spirit cleansing laugh at oneself.

The key to immortality is the resurrection which will be given to all people.

Another way might be to create artificial intelligence and download your mind into its memory.
