I know this sounds retarded, but what are the small side windows that open by rotating called? The one's that typically get broken out when your car gets broken into? I need to replace one but have no idea what to ask for. Thanks.

Years ago they were termed as vent windows. however these days they probably have come up with a new name.

they USE to be "vent" windows, but most of them don't open anymore. They are there to make the window smaller in order to allow room for the window to roll down into the door.
