Heck yeah. Why just last week me and muh buddies was cruizin around with a cooler full of beer and saw this teepee thingy with a bunch of people under it out in the graveyard so we pulled in to see what all the fuss was about. Can ya believe it?!? Turns out this little get together was a sendoff for a good drinkin buddy of ours from the next town over. Well, we had a nice time but we ran outta beer cause of course everyone there was a drinkin buddy of his too. We'll remember to take more beer and some chips next time we go.

No. I can barely force myself to go to a funeral for anyone that I know and cared for. When I was young, I used to have an Irish neighbor who was fascinated with funerals. If she read of one for anyone with an Irish name she would always go to it. She would talk pleasantly to everyone there, participate in all the activities, and offer heart-felt condolences to the grieving family. Her husband was a homicide detective and I guess that she felt that funeral attendance was a way of life for her.

I hardly attend the funeral of those whom I know, let alone to those whom I dont know.I am a happy person and these sort of ceremonies are not good to me. try to avod sad events and occassions.Seeing the dead people is not that pleasing. I am type of person who can not see people suffering, but I have seen some pople who stay and look at someone who has had an accident and enjoy watching him/her tis way.ohhh...its inhumane

That's just plain weird and disrespectful. Do you really think the family the deceased appreciates having some corpse oogling stranger there?

No, it's bad enough when I have to attend the funeral of someone I do know.

Usually no. But if it is a public figure I respect, the answer is sometimes "yes". But one thing is for sure I don't go with the same feeling and intentions as described in your question. In your case better see Dr. Freud he could help you, I am sure.

6 times. They were funerals for soldiers killed in Vietnam whose remains was found and returned HOME.
I find a person that does what you say as sick and in need of serious counceling.

Even on people I do know-----I try to skip all funerals and weddings.
One is sad, and the other, the people are usually young and have no idea what they are getting into.
