I was on BC for 3 or 4 months then my hubby came home from Iraq, well last month when I got to the white pills which are supposed 2 give me my period, I only got my period 4 a day and then nothing. I took a test like a week later but it was negative. I have been so tired, my boobs are sore but only when my son who is 10mths old touches me. I've felt nauseous but haven't thrown up. But my friend said she had diaherra instead of puking wit her PG. And i've had diaherra. I've been craving ice cream 2. When I was preggo wit my 10mth old... I had no idea.. becuz my period was irregular so I would skip months that's why I got on BC 2 regulate my periods. we didn't find out I was preggo then until I was 4 mths preggo... So i'm wondering wit the symptoms I'm having and the way I feel could I be preggo and the home preggo test jus be wrong or 2 soon 2 tell?!?!??!
SERIOUS ANSWERS ONLY PLEASE!!!

maybe its too early to tell wait a week then get another test good luck i did a test back in july and it came out - so i thought nothing of it...mostly because i had my period or what i thought was my period because it was when i was due ( i too was on the pill for regulation) anyway turned out i was pregnant but there was not enough hcg to detect it...try waiting a week so so then try again

You could be but the most probable time of getting pregnant is the 14th (to the 18th) day of your cycle - with the day you begin your period as Day #1 in your cycle.
I would take a second test after your first completely missed period - most tests can not read before that time. EPT I believe makes one that reads the earliest but I think you still need to miss a period. And use first morning urine - has the highest hormone for reading pregnancy.
Since this has happened before - it seems that it would definately be another possibility. If one BC pill is not regulating your period, you should switch to another that works better for you. Yasmin is a great one with low hormones and Ortho TriCyclin is also good - not sure which one you are on.
The younger you are, the harder it is to pinpoint your days when you are most likely to get pregnant though - because of the irregularity. This is why you should always mark it on a calendar. So - at this point, I would not take the BC pill because if you are pregnant it could have a negative effect on the fetus. But- you should consult a gynecologist before anything. I would make an appt to see her - even if you are not pregnant, you need something to help regulate your period more.
But - also, some BC pills make it so that your period is short and very light and sometimes not at all - Yasmin is one of these so if you are on one that has this as a side effect (which most women prefer) , it could just be that you got your period but just for that day. That is possible too. And even though you are not actively bleeding, you could still have PMS and other period complaints like breast soreness, hunger, cravings, diarhhea, etc - these go along with periods too sometimes and pregnancy which is why it can be so hard to tell.
I would get in to see your doctor. :o)

Yes, you could be pregnant. Wait until you've missed your period for atleast a week and take a home pregnancy test. If it's negative, start the pills again and be sure you take them everyday, not missing any. If you don't get a period next month, see your GYN Dr. Home pregnancy tests are very accurate. The Dr. uses the same kind you buy over the counter. The only more accurate one is a blood test to see the levels of HCG in your blood.

You may have taken the test too soon. Are you still on the BC pills? You should see a doctor as your hubby has just come back from a country with less sanitation than we have. He could be carrying some bug that doesn't affect him, but gives you diarrhea. Your immune system may not be as strong right now as you just had a baby 10 months ago.

It sounds like you could be. With home prego tests you can have a false negative, so it can say negative, but you could still be. Make an appointment with your Gyno to have your blood drawn. That's the most effective way to tell.

it might have been to early to take the test. You should try to take another one in a week. As long as your hcg level is high enough it will show for you if not go to your doctor!

If you took the test and it was negative after your normal period, you probally are negative.
Go to a doctor.

Its doubtful. Your period will be screwy for quite a few months when on the pill, and your cycle can still change while you're on it.
