Gold is measured in troy ounce, lead in imperial. The gold is heavier.

An ounce is an ounce. Unless you're talking about Troy ounces. The only difference between lead and gold is a single neutron per atom. But the Troy ounce is heavier.

The gold. Gold, like other precious metals, is measured in Troy weight. One Troy ounce is slightly heavier than a standard Imperial ounce, which is what the lead would be measured in as it is not a precious metal.

1 oz by weight or by volume? If by volume, then lead will be heavier. If by weight, then they would be the same.

What's heavier a block of wood or your head
It must be your head as it's a lot thicker than a block of wood.
