Birds sing because they are programmed to do so. It's unlikely they have an appreciation of music. But who said birds aren't animals? What are they? Vegetables? If so, I'm gonna become a vegetarian and eat nothing but fried chicken. And of course humans are animals. We're just not very nice.

I'm sure every animal has its own version of singing, just like communication.
I don't know if they can sing like a choir, but birds will sing their own little songs.

nope. other animals do sing. however humans are the only specy that "laugh/smile"...have you ever thought of that....
