I'm in a wedding next Saturday and the dresses are black, so I look more pale that usual. I've been trying that Jergens Natural Glow for light skin, but it is taking forever and I can barely tell after applying it everyday for almost 2 weeks. Any spray tans work well for you and not appear orange? I'm very, vary pale with freckles and burn in the sun, so try to keep that in mind. Thanks.

Neutrogena Sunless MicroMist Tanning Spray worked great for me. I wrote a review on it here: http://gottaspa.blogspot.com/2006/07/review-neutrogena-micromist-tanning.html

If you do a spray tan be sure to find a place that has had theirs for a while and apply a lot of lotion so that your skin isn't dry (otherwise it will look patchy later... exfoliate first!). I'd go a couple of days before the wedding so that you can touch up any problem spots but wont have patches where it has worn off.

Also you might not even need to do this. If you can look like you have a healthy glow (perhaps buy some bronzer and apply it to your face and areas that would naturally be sunkissed (like collar bones... play around with it)) then you will look fine pale. Try to remember that super tan is going out of style anyway as people realize how cancer-ridden it makes you look. Many of my friends are tanning much less these days.

I was in the same situation in January. I am very fair, freckles, dark hair, burn very easily. I got a spray tan. It was OK. The tan its self looked good but it smelled weird. Also I got it done on a Wednesday and the wedding was Saturday so i had lost some by then. I recommend getting it Thursday so it can tone down a shade..

Honey if I were you I would go white and be proud of your natural color - move up to the next (medium) level if you continue to go with the lotion - spray tans drip and it could be more embarassing than anything else - you don't want to be at the last minute trying to fix mistakes in your coloring - what a nightmare!
They do have another fine spray at home tan - at Rite Aid I think - maybe try that?

Skincare RX is the BEST!
I have been using it for 2 years, because I have so much skin damage from tanning. It is brown, not yellow, and does not have that disgusting smell. Go to skincarerx.com
Tell em I sent ya!

I would suggest spray on tan. It is extremely safe. My girlfriend wears it and people come up to her all the time and ask where she goes to tan.

Hollywood tans. Like ten minutes, in and out!
