Yes, I do remember it first time around. I thought it was fantastic. I fancied Mr. Spock though.
Gent, dear Sir, you look older...... feel free to chastise yourself! Monkey nuts are best left in their shells, I feel. (!)

No I found it very irritating. The enterprise is a ship and like all ships it is essential that certain routines are followed for the safety and smooth running of the ship. The captain does not go on every shore party and if he does go on one he does not take two of this senior officers. But of course Shatner just had to be in every scene

I was a fan from the moment I saw the first promo on NBC in 1966. Now they've remastered it in HD, and digitally upgraded the special effects. Of course I'm going to watch it!

EDIT: Here's a list of stations that will carry the remastered show.

Showing your age Cotes if I could be so bold. I'm 34 and don't recall seeing it in my childhood..... Jim'll Fix it and Dr Who but not Star Trek. (Just say the word and I'll crush my nuts in my bedside cabinet)

Cotes, Princess... I like the cut of your Gibb. You'll be pleased to know The Gents nuts are secure. You must be 36+ though...

40... I knew it! Am I right... am I right...?Lol
