i read " Pride And Prejudice " in 2 weeks . . it's a good book by the way .. i don't think you should set a time period for you to finish a book . . it depends on how much do you like the book . .

I suppose that the answer depends on a number of factors, such as how much time per day you can devote yourself to reading it, whether the choice of books was yours (or an assignment of some kind), how familiar you are with the writing style (early 19th century isn't exactly the same as early 21st century), and how engrossed you get with the story (some are tedious, others are more inviting, and it differs for everyone).
Probably the only answer that makes any sense is read at the pace that you have a reasonable understanding of how the story is progressing. If you have to remember what you had just read two pages back, you might be going too fast.

A week and a half to 2 weeks tops. Most likely a week, or less. Its Jane Austen's first book, (she wrote it at age 19), and her best novel. I liked it alot. Enjoy!

It depends on how much time you have to devote to your reading and also your reading speed. I'm a pretty fast reader so I can read a 800-900 page book in a day or two usually. But that's when I'm reading hour after hour...
Hope this helps though. =)
