honda 200 three wheeler 1982 it has four wires two yellowa and a red and green i can't seem to figure out how to keep a charge with my three wheeler and think that this may solve the problem.

gaurdrailjim has correct procedure for connecting rectifier/regulator to your three wheeler.
Be sure to use a fuse between battery (red) lead and your rectifier.

Always give year, make, engine size and model # when asking questions.
Red - battery positive terminal
Green - ground (frame or battery negative)
2 yellow wires to alternator (doesn't matter which to which)
