Lots of people. The first time I heard it was on TV, probably in the '50s, sung by a little girl on a talent show. Most recently, I hear it at jams in Brenda (Quartzsite) Arizona every winter season. It's a great song with a lot of energy. Check Amazon.com for recordings they have of it. You'll find that more than one artist has recorded it.

For all of my acquaintances, we greet one yet another with hugs. With me close acquaintances, it rather is a hug and a kiss on the cheek. as quickly as I meet new adults it rather is frequently a hand shake yet as quickly as I meet adults who I actual have hassle-free for a at an identical time because it rather is the two a hug or an air kiss, that's what every person does interior the section I stay in.

Jimmy Buffet might sing it, but I've heard Elvis do it too. Not sure about the original.
