FRANCE has won the FIFA World Cup only once in 1998 when they hosted the tournament. they beat BRAZIL, the defending champions at that time 3-0 in the final with two goals scored by Zinedine Zidane & another goal by Emmanuel Petit.

in 1998 by cheating of course. Everybody will admit to it that they won the 1998 WC by dubious means. And 2006 was the last time France played in any World Cup final cos they will never qualify into the final match let alone winning any World Cup ( unless they cheat again)
