the best way to do so is in a crazy way that way it will stun em! play a prank on them and then ask them like get into a big box put there name on the front of it go to there house ring the door bell and then when they answer the door...make sure its them though and then pop out and say will u go to homecoming or prom with me!

just go up 2 the person u want 2 ask, try 2 start a casual conversation, then bring up the dance, ask them if they're going w/ any1, if they're not than ask if they'd like 2 go w/ u. easy and simple. GOOD LUCK :)
