Well it depends upon the personal interpretation of a nightmare. I used to have recurring dreams about an old romance that had had a falling out. The dreams were never exactly the same aside from every time things were better between us. Now that might not qualify as a nightmare to some, but it works for me, because I would always find myself very depressed upon waking, and it would persist at least halfway through the day. Good thing I don't have them anymore.

haven't had it in a while, but used to have one about an antebellum home 3 stories something like they have in New Orleans built off the ground because of flooding....It also had an attic....I always rode up on my bike to the back door and the people [circa 1900] would greet me in like I was one of their relatives and would let me go up to the attic and play with dolls....I was a child, of course....this almost made me believe in reincarnation, but being a Christian I had to fight that notion.
